Yvette Huntley is a singer-songwriter who believes

dream and aspirations are timeless, no matter what

you're in pursuit of to keep persevering to achieve that

goal.  The belief influences the songs she writes and music she creates.  She hopes it to be relatable and an inspiration to her audience.  Her songs identify with struggles and overcoming obstacles of life, as well as tunes of love and encourages faith.  

 

Yvette has received recognition for her songwriting.

skills in VH1'S Song of the year contest as Semi-Finalist and 3 times Runner Up in 2014/2015 and Christmas song 2021.  She tends to reach whatever audience her music is intended for.  She embraces the message in the music approach and wish musical enjoyment.  

There are future endeavors of music and short story writing as well.

 

She is a Florida native who relocated to Chicago, and from a young age found solace through music. Songwriting and story writing served as a saving grace through years of personal struggles as well as growing up from a broken home and feeling alienated. Influenced by artists like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Alicia Key, Selena Q, and more influenced her creativity and in some ways influenced her sound, we are a combination of our influences she believes.

As of today, she chooses to embrace being unique and express that through music.  With influences ranging from Classic R&B. Pop, Gospel, Latin, Contemporary Christian and some international sounds, she embrace diversity of music. Her base sound would be R&B/Pop with a twist of her own flair.  She welcomes you to her musical journey and to other future content.
